Reviews and Ratings
I appreciated the spacious two-bedroom apartment which felt private yet was conveniently close to the main facilities. The breakfast was quite good, especially considering the current health measures, but I did notice some areas of the resort showing signs of age. While my family enjoyed our time, I feel the cleanliness and maintenance could be significantly improved; it just didn't live up to the five-star standard I expected.
The hotel offers spacious and well-equipped accommodations, perfect for families and groups. The staff is friendly and accommodating, though their efficiency varies at times. The dining options, particularly breakfast, are diverse and high-quality, but some extra charges for basic amenities can be frustrating. The location is convenient, with a short distance to the town and beach, though the return walk can be a bit challenging.
We had a comfortable and spacious stay in the self-catering townhouses, which were well-equipped for our family of four. The location was a bit remote from Carvoeiro's center, making it difficult to walk to attractions, but the resort's amenities were a strong point. The dining was decent, although the breakfast experience lacked some ambiance and engagement from the staff. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I would suggest improvements in communication and amenities in the kitchen.
Our experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. On one hand, we really enjoyed the spacious rooms and the serene atmosphere. On the flip side, we faced some significant issues with the check-in process and the dining options were limited. It felt like there was a disconnect between the quality expected from a 5-star hotel and what was delivered.
